Just putting in my thoughts....

This is going to be pretty short and sweet. Today was sooo long and I'm dead tired, but I clearly can't go a day without blogging!

First of all....

Second of all....what the hell Tim Connolly?! I mean seriously! I'm sorry for bashing but how much can we take as a fan base? What have you done for me lately Tim? Come back and wow me and I'll show you some love. As of right now you really just annoy me.

R

And TC's injury is?

a sore groin....

LOL - I have nothing further to say about him...

L

Get Rid of Tim Connolly? Yes We Can!

Here's a scenario folks...

If you knew you could work for someone that would let you get away with being "hurt" or sick all the time, wouldn't you milk it for all it's worth?

Most of us hard working, middle class people would say absolutely not! You should earn what you get!

But the Sabres indeed have a milker on the team...and it's Tim Connolly!!!!!!!

Here's the headline I just read on WGR....

"Are you f-ing serious!" Is what I yelled as I read my computer screen - not even surprised in the least.

Attention Sabres: Is keeping poor, little sickly "Timmykins" on our team really a good financial move? GET A FREAKING CLUE!

And of course, we keep a guy like that and get rid of players that work for their pay!

Re-damn-diculous! TC's ship has come and gone....period!

- here ends my vent....

L

PS - Thanks to MJ over at My Safety is Harvard for "Timmykins." love it!

"I play on expert bitch!"

Today has been such an exciting day! We have a new president! Obama '08! Yes We Can! Almost equally exciting....4 Sabres are included on the NHL AllStar Fan Ballot! Starting Nov. 12th you can vote for Ryan Miller, Thomas Vanek, Derek Roy and Teppo Numminen. Holler!!!

So while parusing some random youtube videos today I came across this piece of awesomeness. It reminded me your favorite guitar hero AND mine......

Seriously though, check this out and tell me that Drew DOSEN'T do this on his days off! How else would he prepare for Invisible Children's first tour? Or maybe he just likes to relive his time on the Warped Tour with his new bffs "Everytime I Die?" Either way....it's freakin funny!

"Fill my eyes with that double vision"

IT'S MILLERTIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What a game! 2 consecutive shutouts for Ryan Miller! WOOHOO! The Sabres pretty much skated circles around the Devils tonight.
Here are my thoughts throughout the game.....
1. Rivet is back!
2. Wow....I hate vs!
3. Pommers!!! I love you and your velveteen hair!
4. Boy I really hate vs....who the hell dressed Engblam? Striped suit, checkered shirt, pattern tie?
5. OMG Connolly lost his helmet! Raise the injury alert level to RED!
6. Gee I wonder if Brodeur is out with an injury? I sure hope these guys mention it 1 more time.
7. Yay for a win! Double yay for a 2nd shutout! Triple yay for lalime's sweet dance moves!

And Speaking of the Hat....

I just wanted to say:

#1 - Holy Hot are they batman! Thank you to the person who took this pic! God Bless you in fact!

and

#2 - I so knew Ryan would eventually have a hat like the one pictured above! In fact, last week at Target, I said to Rachael and some of our other friends..."Mark my words, Ryan Miller will eventually sport a hat just like this one." I was so freaking right! But it doesn't come a shocker really. After all, Ryan always covers the three F's - Fun, Funky, and Fashionable....the three requirements for his Catwalks for Charity!

mmmhmm!

Boy did I pick the wrong game!

So last night Lucinda and I drove up to Clarkson University to take in our first Golden Knights game of the season. So instead of seeing a freakin sweet game from the Sabres and a SHUTOUT FROM RYAN MILLER, we watched the Knights lose 5-3 to the Carleton University whatever they were. So sad. I did get to see Pommer's goal during intermission. And I see Royzie got a goal as well. Love works miracles boys. Love works miracles.

So lets talk Golden Knights. Do any of you other bloggers follow any college teams? Luckily last night's game wasn't a part of the ECAC regular season....just an exhibition game. Here are my top 3 Knights to watch this season....well I'll be watching them, so you will be too! :O)

1. Shea Guthrie: Sadly Shea is injured and didn't get to play last night, but it's his senior year and hopefully he'll be out on the ice soon! He has also been drafted by the NY Islanders. Last season Shea had 13 assists and 9 goals, 5 of them being game winners.

2. Tom Pizzo: Sophomore from Rochester, I'm just going to assume he's a Sabres fan! I like this kid because he's pretty scrappy. Even though he's small he isn't afraid to throw a punch. He skated in 24 games last season scoring 2 goals and getting 4 assists.

3. Eric Daddario: Ok Ok....last night was the first time I ever saw this kid play in a game. He didn't get to play at all last year. And I'm not gonna lie...he caught my attention because he's gorgeous!!! None the less, I'll be cheering him on this season.....even if he's sitting on the bench!
